La finalidad de este artículo es describir qué es, para qué sirve y cómo funciona el sistema eléctrico econowisp. Muchas personas me preguntan todo tipo de cosas y con este artículo pretendo resolver todas las dudas.

Así no tengo que repetir lo mismo una y otra vez. Así que ponte cómo y empieza a leer. Recuerda que estos artículos los actualizo constantemente así que hoy puede que tenga digamos 500 palabras pero dentro de una semana puede que tenga 1000.

Sin más preámbulo vamos al mambo…

Ventajas

      • Monitoreo remoto de la tensión del circuito. Puedo saber el estado de carga de las baterías y el tiempo aproximado que me queda de autonomía.
      • Saber si hay o no electricidad
      • Alarmas directas a mi correo si la tensión está muy baja. Me da tiempo a tomar una acción pro-activa antes de que se apague todo
      • Elimino las baterías de ácido por tanto puedo pasar meses sin enviar a revisar el nivel de agua. Con esto reduzco el costo de mantenimiento.
      • Conecto todos los equipos sin POE. Con esto me ahorro la energía que gasta en la conversión de 110v a 24vdc. También me permite reutilizar los POE en otras aplicaciones.
      • Me ahorro el inversor. Con esto elimino el costo energético de la conversión de 12 a 110v. Esta es la principal razón por la que las baterías rinden tanto aun siendo un 70% más pequeñas.
      • Menos probabilidad de que se me dañe un equipo ya que está conectado directo a batería.
      • Más organización. Como puedes ver en la imagen todo queda organizado y etiquetado.
      • Menos espacio utilizado. Los sistemas econowisp se colocan en la base de la torre. Con esto eliminas la necesidad de usar otros espacios y por tanto puedes pagar menos local.

¿Qué es un sistema eléctrico EconoWisp?

Es un sistema eléctrico diseñado por mi y construido por mi para satisfacer la necesidad eléctrica de un site (sitio, antena, torre o como quieras llamarlo) para alimentar los equipos que normalmente se usan en una torre.

¿Con cuales equipos entregas el sistema eléctrico?

Con todo lo que ves en las fotos de abajo. El costo del producto incluye el swiche, router mikrotik rb750igs, baterías etc. Si quieres un router de mayor tamaño solo tienes que especificarlo en esa caja cabe hasta un CCR.

¿Cuantos equipos puedo conectar?

Normalmente de 4 a 16 radios pero puedo fabricar sistemas para conectar la cantidad ilimitada de radios. Claro mientras más radios más cuesta el sistema. Lo que sí te recomiendo es que si tienes 16 radios en una torre debes revisar por qué tienes tantos equipos.

¿Qué tiempo dura el sistema energético econowisp en batería?

Depende de muchos factores pero los principales es que la cantidad de baterías y la cantidad de equipos instalados influye en la duración. Con 4000 pesos de baterías y 8 radios te puede dar 14 horas sin problemas.

      • 4 radios 1 batería : 8 horas
      • 8 radios 1 batería : 4 horas
      • 8 radios 2 baterias : 8 horas
      • 16 radios 2 baterías : 5 horas
  • Nota: Estos tiempos son estimados y no se garantizan porque se desconoce el consumo de los equipos que se le conectarán.

Ya con 12 radios en adelante lo recomendable es combinar la CDE con un panel solar y una controladora PWM ya que sale más barato invertir en el panel que en baterías y te da mucho más autonomía.

¿Qué mantenimiento tiene el sistema?

Ninguno. Las baterías son selladas y no llevan mantenimiento. Lo ideal es que como son tan económicas las baterías las cambie anualmente. Su precio ronda de 36 a 45 dólares la unidad dependiendo de la marca.

¿Cuanto cuesta?

De 500 a 650 dólares depende de los componentes. Varía en función a la cantidad de radios que vas a encender, número de baterías, y tipo de mikrotik que quieres.

¿Cual es la tensión de salida (voltaje) del sistema?

Tiene salida a 3 tensiones. 12, 24 y 48 vdc. Todo va a depender de los radios que vallas a conectar y el usuario final puede variar ese valor con un destornillador. El procedimiento es fácil y rápido.

¿Si lo compro qué me incluye el sistema?

Todo está incluido hasta la puesta en marcha, swiches, router, bateria, etc. Yo personalmente voy y superviso que la instalación (por ahora, ando buscando un técnico para este trabajo) esté echa bajo los estándares de calidad que exijo para que funcione como está previsto.

¿Qué es el reinicio remoto?

Es una característica de la unidad de potencia en la cual puedes a travez de un comando en el mikrotik reiniciar todos los equipos conectados (o una parte de estos según tu configuración eléctrica).

Esto es especialmente útil cuando algún radio o dispositivo se te friza para no tener que dar un viaje puedes apagar y prender vía remota sin importar que los equipos sean administrables o no.

¿No lleva abanicos el sistema?

No. El sistema está diseñado para que el calor de los equipos pase a las placas de aluminio tipo L por convección y luego la placa le pasa el calor por conducción a la placa trasera. Esta última actúa como radiador.
