Cuando entiendas esas dos diferencias, entre lo que se considera un lujo y una necesidad, vas a dejar de estar gastando dinero de pendejo comprando cosas que no necesitas y que la sociedad, los medios de comunicación, los videos de dembow, las ofertas y los anuncios te hacen creer que necesitas y terminas comprando.

Lo que para una persona es una necesidad, para otra es un lujo o simplemente un gasto. Cada uno de los productos y servicios que nosotros compramos tienen que ser necesarios para nuestro día a dia. El problema está en cuando no sabemos diferenciar cuando algo es necesario y cuando algo simplemente es un capricho.

Diferenciar un lujo de una necesidad te ayudará a tomar mejores decisiones con tu dinero. Te lo voy a mostrar con diferentes ejemplos junto con un video para que mas o menos determines lo que quiero decir.

Ejemplo 1. El teléfono

Todos necesitamos un dispositivo móvil, esto es algo imprescindible para la vida moderna, la productividad, la comunicación, el trabajo el estudio.. en fin es prácticamente imposible manejarse hoy día sin un teléfono. Compras un iPhone 8 el chiquito (ese es el que yo tengo)

Bien necesitas un móvil compras uno pero resulta que ves a un amigo, o compañero con el último modelo el iPhone 12 PRO MAX. Y se te mete en la cabeza que si tu trabajas mucho te mereces el teléfono y ahí vas compras un móvil que hará prácticamente el mismo trabajo que el anterior pero 2 o 5 veces más costoso. Eso es un LUJO que te acabas de dar.

Ejemplo 2. El vehículo

Tienes un tieto (vehiculo en mal estado) ahi que lo usas para ir al trabajo, ir a la casa de la novia, una cabaña un día y visitar la familia. No corres más de 60 km al día entonces para ese uso el Toyota Corola que tienes funciona excelentemente bien. No necesitas más de ahí.

Si embargo ves a un compañero o en un dealer que los carros están «de oferta» y notas que puedes comprar uno nuevo y pagarlo en cuotas. El pana tuyo ves que compra uno fiao osea emite deuda para andar «mejor» montado y tu no te puedes quedar «atras» y ahí se te mete en la cabeza que tienes que cambiar el carro porque ese «te está dando problemas«.

En ese momento que cambias ese carro entonces eso es un LUJO que te acabadas de dar.

Ejemplo 3. La ropa, el cabello

Tu eres bonita, te haces unos rizos hermosos y te quedan perfecto. Pero de repente te ves en el espejo y te encuentras fea y decides hacer un cambio de look. Ves en un salón que los cabello potiso están de oferta y como trabajas mucho y te lo mereces entonces das 15,000 por unos cabellos para supuestamente verte mejor. En ese momento acabas de darte un lujo.

Ejemplo 4. Comprar un CCR

Ya estoy cansado de decir lo mismo pero aquí va otra vez. Tus compañeros WISP se «pusieron alante» comprando equipos caros para sus centrales. Tu tienes 100 clientes y no te quieres quedar atrás y entonces ves en una de las tienda locale y ponen una oferta. «Aprovecha que van a venir mas caros y compra uno» sacas el poco dinero que tiene la cuenta tu sabe eso chelito entran cheliao y nunca los ves junto.

Compras un CCR y lo montas y el viejo llamas a econowisp y se lo vendes a vaca muerta y te lo compra juyendo. Eso es un lujo porque tus clientes no se estaban quejando y todo estaba normal. Eso no es una inversión eso es un lujo porque fácilmente podías esperar el crecimiento y comprar 2 equipos igual que el que tienes y dividir la red en dos partes iguales.

Yo agarro el mikrotik lo limpio bien y lo vendo con la configuración incluida y le gano casi el doble de lo que te di por el. Eso es una inversión lucrativa… no me hagas mucho caso en el ejemplo 4 véndeme to eso.

El problema de los LUJOS.

Los lujos son productos y servicios que te hacen ser más pobre y se disfrazan de necesidades para que tu como consumidor los adquieras. Recuerdan el anuncio «bohemia, por que te la mereces«. Algo así cada fabricante utiliza sus técnicas de mercadeo para que TU compres sin necesidad. Esa es una de las razones por la que yo no compro por ofertas.

Tú como consumidor tienes que saber la diferencia entre un producto que necesitas y otro que parece que lo necesitas pero en realidad es un LUJO. No es que seas conformista, es que sepas invertir tu dinero y no gastarlo. Comprar lujos es gastarlo y comprar una necesidad es invertirlo. Cuando inviertes obtienes algo importante a cambio y cuando gastas simplemente quemas efectivo el cual rara vez retorna con algún beneficio.
